Sustainability
For our company, responsibility and generational equality form our identity and actions. We early developed and introduced measures for energy-saving and sustainable energy generation. More than 60% of our entire energy consumption is covered by the energy generation of our photovoltaic installations and an additional block heat and power plant. Our continuous investment in energy-saving machines leads to a considerable reduction in energy consumption in a very small time period.
Our production takes place within Germany and entirely in the “Vogelsbergkreis” region. Throughout continuous investment we ensure better and modern working conditions for our employees. Our industrial waste is sorted, separated, recycled and then reused for other products.
It is also our aim to ensure sustainable action of our upstream supply chain. Our commitment is therefore primarily focused on those organisations that are intensely concerned with sustainability in the textiles industry.
German Council for Sustainable Development
The organisation makes sustainability performance visible, transparent and better comparable with a higher level of commitment. It thus broadens the basis for the assessment of sustainability and describes minimum requirements for companies as to what has to be reported from the point of view of sustainability.
